- Our loving husband, dad, grandpa, and friend, Walter Wayne Rudy, passed away peacefully at age 79, on October 27, 1992 at his home.
He was born April 16, 1913 in North Point, Utah to Willis Henry and Mary Evangeline Watson Rudy. He married Margaret Honsvick, December 4, 1937, in Salt Lake; later divorced. He married his loving wife, Marion (Jerri) Prout, February 1, 1979, in Salt Lake. He retired from P.I.E. Freight Lines in 1976 with over 3 million accident free miles. Dad was a happy, friendly person. He befriended everyone he came in contact with. He loved life and he loved his family. He will be remembered by his family and friends for the great love he had for us, and for the wisdom he left us, to always ''roll with the punches'' and that our greatest strength is in staying together as a family. Bye Dad, we will miss you!
He is survived by his sweetheart, Jerri; daughters, sons, stepson and stepdaughter and spouses, Barbara Squirer, Salt Lake City; Carol and Darrell Williams, Sandy; Frank and Loreen Rudy, Murray; Tom and Diane Rudy, Napa, Calif.; Jerald and Kay Prout, West Valley City; Diana Shirts, Las Vegas, Nevada; 15 much loved grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
